Learn to facilitate restorative dialogue, a process of accountability and healing for those involved in violations and crime. Advoz seeks volunteers to facilitate restorative dialogue with young offenders and those they've harmed. In addition to learning the conferencing process and practicing it through role plays, trainees will learn about the justice system, about victims' rights and needs, ethics, and communication skills. Find out why 9 out of 10 victims and offenders are glad they did it.
Course Content Includes: Restorative Practices Skill-Building; Harm, Victimization & Shame; Adolescent Development; Participant Outreach; Conferencing Facilitation and Role-Playing; Facilitating Online, Confidentiality and Ethics.
