Learn to Resolve Conflict with Mediation
This interactive training equips you to mediate interpersonal and community disputes that can apply to personal, professional and volunteer life with Advoz, schools, workplaces and the community. Trainees will learn and practice effective communication and conflict resolution skills that a mediator models. The Facilitative Mediation model will be taught along with confidentiality and other ethical considerations of using the process in Pennsylvania.
Basic Mediation Training includes:
Advoz's Introduction to Training Conflict, Communication & Culture is required to complete this 24-hour training in Basic Mediation for a total of 33 hours. You will need to register for each separately.
CLEs are available for attorneys including 1 ethics credit.

Note, to qualify for the Volunteer Rate we ask that you: 1) have an interest, passion and basic skills for listening and working with people, 2) be available 3+ hours average/month over the next 1-2 years, 3) apply to become a facilitator/mediator at this link, and 4) live or have recently lived within commute-able distance of Advoz (South Central/Southeastern PA). If further away, then you could still be eligible but primarily only as a co-facilitator for online cases.
