Learn to Resolve Conflict with Mediation
This interactive multi-stage training equips you to learn and apply the facilitative mediation model in a range of disputes (neighbors, workplace and more), with a focus and optional second certificate to mediate with families making challenging transitions in their parenting custody, separation and/or divorce.
After an introduction of the major frameworks and skills, trainees will practice effective conflict resolution skills using the Facilitative Mediation model along with legal and ethical considerations for using the process in Pennsylvania with a schedule as follows:
Basic Mediation Training (32 training hrs, 28 CE hrs, 3 CLE ethics hrs) takes place:

CLEs are available for attorney's includes a total of 4 ethics credits. CEUs are available for social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists. Please make the appropriate additional selection below.

* The eight-hour course, Conflict, Communication & Culture: Introduction to Mediation & Restorative Practices (CCC), is required to receive the 32-hour Basic Mediation Training certification. If you have already taken CCC with Advoz, you may forego Day 1 registration and begin on Day 2.
** If you have had 40 hours or the equivalent of basic mediation training (facilitative or transformative models) in the past 10 years, you may be eligible to sign up for the Custody & Divorce Mediation directly. Please email chris@advoz.org to confirm.
