This Session: Human Needs for Disarming Conflict and Harm

Have you taken the Conflict, Communication & Culture training and want to develop your skills and confidence in conflict resolution and restorative practices?

Many others asked for such an opportunity. And we heard you! So this is your chance to:

Practice a familiar skill or learn a new one for effective listening, facilitation and mediation.
Practice skills you already have in a space for mutual support.
Build confidence and focus to use the skills in your own context.
Have fun, get energized and connect to others doing this work!

In just 90 minutes using interactive Zoom capabilities, we will:

Warm up to our best work with exercises to heighten our listening.focus
Hear examples of the core topic and skill from active practitioners
Reflect on learnings with exercise partners and the full group.
Develop a “practice plan” with an accountability partner.
Ask questions of Advoz staff and facilitators, and learn about Advoz developments.

**This session focuses on a key restorative practice skill: listening for and articulating human needs as a way to unlock stuck conflict and harm dynamics.**

Join us for this Continuing Practice to gain actionable tips, practice applied skills and build a supportive community of facilitators and mediators bringing transformative and restorative process to our communities.
